Just like that…the holidays are here! As we roll into Thanksgiving, I wanted to show off my new favorite piece and share a delicious holiday beverage with you all. This beautiful cape, which can be worn in so many different ways for various events besides Thanksgiving, can be purchased at Lee & Birch in store or online at ☺️

Let's tuck away the sweatpants and talk about some alternate outfits that will make you feel comfortable, stylish, and put together for all of the holiday eating ahead. Sweater dresses are hot right now, and a great way to stay cozy and comfortable while still enjoying stuffing and pumpkin pie. Grab your favorite cable knit sweater and layer it over a denim shirt, add a statement necklace and some leggings or a mini skirt, and finish it off with a cute pair of booties. You’ll be ready to cook, relax, and drink wine with your family and friends while still being cozy and stylish at the same time! This month, I am obsessed with this classy, sleek, off-white cape with gold button detailing. It is so versatile…you can literally wear this with most anything! This looks amazing with colored denim, layered over your favorite dress, or paired with velvet pants. Until it hits below freezing, you could even ditch your winter coat and rock this cape while you shop your heart out. Black Friday shopping, anyone!?

Fall and Thanksgiving bring out the pumpkin spice addict in all of us. Everything everywhere is pumpkin spice madness! My mom, aka the craft cocktail queen, is whipping up these pumpkin spice beauties for our celebration this week—yum! They are so easy to make, and can easily be added to your celebration. Here's how to make them:

Pumpkin Spice Martini

Makes 1 serving

1.5 oz. Stoli Vanilla Vodka

1.5 oz. Baileys Irish Cream

1 pump real pumpkin syrup

simple syrup or chocolate syrup (for glass rim)

crushed graham crackers

ground nutmeg

whipped cream (optional)

Rim a martini glass with chocolate or simple syrup and graham crackers. Add the first 3 ingredients to a shaker and shake with ice for 10 seconds. Strain into glass. Garnish with nutmeg and a smidge of whipped cream. Cheers!

I am so looking forward to being surrounded by my circle of special people, and I hope you are too. Remember to breathe in and reflect on everything you’re thankful for in your life. The holidays can be crazy, but don't forget to think of all the good! Cheers to fashion, family, and friends as we give thanks on this special holiday.

With love,
